Materials for insulation:

So, before you get started, I decided to go to the store and buy the following materials:

1. wooden bar (5/5 cm)
2. Building board DSP
3. Screws long 7cm

5. Plastic film

total amount that was spent on all the necessary tools for the work was about 3 thousand rubles.The main cost item - a foam.DSP boards - have been borrowed from the old cabinets.

I must say that the soil to insulate the floor in the garage for me was - the desire for comfort.This garage will be my motorcycle (biker I), which I love and cherish repair, even in winter, and walking on capital garage winter boots are not the most pleasant thing, that actually this was the reason for the warming of the floor.

Step floor insulation technology in the garage

Step 1.

To proceed directly to the insulation initially took away all the trash out of the garage, which bars the us access to the work surface.

Step 2.

Step 3.

Styrofoam - is an excellent insulating material, which we will use for thermal insulation.

Step 4.
